We recommend that you bring no or as few as possible, valuables to the tour. We cannot take responsibility for valuables lost during the course of the tour.

It should go without saying that your bike should be in perfect working order at the start of the Cape Country Unplugged. It might be subjected to severe riding conditions because it is winter time in the Western Cape, and we recommend that you replace any old parts that may not survive the distance. The use of tubeless tyres is highly recommended. Check your slime levels and if necessary, top up slime. A dedicated bike mechanic will provide repairs and servicing at the finish each day, which is for your expense.
